American Legion Paris Post 1

Despite the recent difficulties, we continue to have an exceptional amounts of guests who join us from around the world for our ceremonies and events and around Paris. Please see pictures of Paris Post 1 events on our Facebook page.

POST MEMBER MEETINGS:

We have post meetings each month. Please CONFIRM time and location by emailing the contact link.

We don't currently have Post Home that is open daily to visit but we can make an attempt to meet legionnaires at their request - this WILL be impacted by Covid19 restrictions, at this time.

We gather for our scheduled meetings and for ceremonies. During the Covid19 pandemic, active members in the post have been meeting via video conference. Please contact us if you are a member of good standing in Paris Post 1 or of the American Legion - at large - and would like to attend our next meeting. Our Commander or Adjutant will consider your request and get back to you ASAP.

CEREMONIES: We conduct ceremonies at the different memorials around Paris and France throughout the year. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about our ceremonial duties or to participate.

Historically significant site(s):

We recommend that you visit PERSHING HALL memorial building on 49, Rue Pierre Charron, 75008 PARIS. It is near the avenue des Champs - Elysees. It was our post home from the 1930s to 1991.
